After carrying the team for its first few games, the defense let the 49ers score 33 points, the second game in a row giving up 30+. He made the highlight reel with a spectacular 22-yard touchdown run to bring the Bears within 1 point in the 4th quarter, and ran for over 100 yards for the first time in his career.
The lone bright spot in this game was the play (or one play) from the rookie quarterback. Losers of three straight games, Bears now sit at 3-5 and third in the NFC North.The Bears finally showed some fight in a 33-22 home loss to the 49ers but fell apart in the second half, getting outscored 24-9.
